Colorful Noise Kids Art and Music Classes

"Colorful Noise" coming to The Art of Music on April 12th. Click here to sign-up online!

"Colorful Noise" is our next 6-week session of 2021. Classes begin in-studio or online the week of Monday, April 12th.

During Art in this session, we will work on several take home projects in a variety of media such as the "Birthday Cake" sculpture (pictured), a multi-media piece, “The Peacock” sculpture, and “It’s Raining” painting, just to name a few. During Music for the younger children, we will sometimes integrate music with our art making and also experience different musical styles through fine and gross motor movement, finger plays, rhythm instrument play, and other musical activities. We will be offering IN-Studio and Online programming. The cost for the 6-week session, IN-Studio or Online, is $175.

3-Week Session "Christmas Fun 2020" Begins in Nov.

Join us for our 3-week Christmas Fun 2020 Celebration, starting the week of November 30th!

We will be celebrating Christmas during our Music Activities in the Music Room and in the Art Room. We will be creating this sweet Wood Christmas Tree and Ornament (pictured), another Christmas Ornament, and a Kandinsky inspired Christmas Tree on a Canvas.

The cost for this 3-week session is $105. We will be offering IN-Studio, as well as, Online programming with a Curbside Art Bag pick up the Friday before the session begins (for those participating Online).

"Holiday Hoopla" 6-Week Session Starts In-Studio or Online Oct. 12

“Holiday Hoopla” is our second 6-week Fall Session of 2020, beginning Mon. Oct. 12th!

During Art in this session, we will work on several take home projects in a variety of media such as “Tom Turkey” sculpture (pictured), a “Framed Spider”, and a cute little Monster sculpture, just to name a few.

During Music for the younger children, we will sometimes integrate music with our art making and also experience different musical styles through fine and gross motor movement, finger plays, rhythm instrument play, parachute play, and other musical activities.

We will be offering IN-Studio and Online programming. The cost for the 6-week session, IN-Studio or Online, is $175. If you live outside the area and require an Art Bag to be mailed to you, the cost for the Mailing and Online Session is $195 for the 6-week session.

If you cannot find a time slot on Monday or Friday that fits your schedule, please let us know. We may be able to accommodate their needs. With the new and different school schedules, we are really trying to accommodate everyone. We just need at least 4 kids to create a new time slot.

UPDATE!!! Next 3-Week Session Starts in April!

COVID-19 is forcing us to make some changes to the next Art of Music session, "On the Road Again". It is now going to be 3-weeks instead of 6 weeks, and the classes will be offered via Zoom. The cost has been reduced to $105.

The dates for this online Class will be Mondays, April 13, 20, and 27 at 11:00am for kids ages 1yr-6yrs participating in the Art and Music class experiences and 1:00pm for the school aged kids ages 6yrs and older participating in the ALL Art Classes.

Below is the original class information for the 6-week session.

The Art of Music LLC Presents "On the Road Again", our next 6-week session starting the week of Apr. 13th.

Each session is a blend of music and visual art experiences that actively involve children of all abilities (children with special needs as well as children developing typically) ages 1-21. Using visual arts, movement, and music, activities incorporate concepts such as: spatial and body awareness, fine and gross motor skills, language, sensory, social skills, community and acceptance, and the appreciation of the arts, etc.

Each session is a blend of music and visual art experiences that actively involve children of all abilities (children with special needs as well as children developing typically) ages 1 yr. and older.

Using visual arts, movement, and music, activities incorporate concepts such as: spatial and body awareness, fine and gross motor skills, language, sensory, social skills, community and acceptance, and the appreciation of the arts, etc. Each hour will be comprised of a FUN blend of process-oriented music and visual art experiences. Your child will come away singing with some beautiful artwork keepsakes! Supplies provided.

During the “On the Road Again” 6-week session, we will work on Artworks in a variety of media such as “Our Favorite Camp Site” sculpture (pictured above), a “Souvenir Box” Art piece, and a “Watercolor Flower” wall hanging, just to name a few. During music, for the younger children, we will sometimes integrate music with our art making and also experience different musical styles through fine and gross motor movement, finger plays, rhythm instrument play, parachute play, and other musical activities.

Kids Canvas Club on Mar. 16 & 20

Our Kids Canvas Club returns on Monday, Mar. 16th and Friday, Mar. 20th! Kids aged 6-21 are invited to participate in a night of just an art group among friends!

This class focuses on the creation of visual arts with music as a backdrop. The art project we'll complete is "Standout Birds" (pictured). There are available sessions starting at 4:30pm and 6pm on Mar. 16th and 4:30pm on Mar. 20th.

Cost is $30 and includes all necessary art materials, instruction and the take home finished art project.

The Art of Music LLC Presents "Fox and Hound", our next 6-week session starting the week of January 6.

Each session is a blend of music and visual art experiences that actively involve children of all abilities (children with special needs as well as children developing typically) ages 1-21. Using visual arts, movement, and music, activities incorporate concepts such as: spatial and body awareness, fine and gross motor skills, language, sensory, social skills, community and acceptance, and the appreciation of the arts, etc.

Each hour will be comprised of a FUN blend of process-oriented music and visual art experiences. Your child will come away singing with some beautiful artwork keepsakes! Supplies provided.

During our “Fox and Hound” 6-week session in the Art Room, we will work on several take home projects in a variety of media such as “The Fox” (pictured above), a “Winter Bird on a House”, an “Evergreen Trees” Landscape, and a 3D mixed media “Winter Tree” sculpture, just to name a few.

During music, for the younger children, we will sometimes integrate music with our art making and also experience different musical styles through fine and gross motor movement, finger plays, rhythm instrument play, parachute play, and other musical activities.

Dates: Mondays, January 6th through February 17th with NO CLASSES on Monday, Jan. 20th for Martin Luther King Day
