We've had a great couple of weeks in our new studio - we love it! And we hope you'll be able to join us soon for Kids Yoga, Canvas Club, Canvas & Conversation or a Summer Session!

Sunday, March 12th is the day! We're excited to share our new studio with you! Join us from 1:00-3:00pm at 129 Orangewick Dr. North in Lewis Center. There will be a free art project for kids and an opportunity to win a future 6-week session at the new studio!

We now have dates and times for our first Canvas Club and Canvas & Conversation in the new location!

The next Kids' Canvas Club is "Jaunty Giraffe" on Monday, March 20 from 5:30-6:30pm. The fee for the 1-hour class is $30 and includes supplies.​​ (There is no fee for anyone who signs up and pays for our spring 5-week session, "Artful Beginnings".)


The next Canvas & Conversation for Parents, Delaware County BDD Staff, and any interested Community Members is "Spring Flower" on Friday, April 28 from 7:30-9:00pm. The fee is $25 and includes all supplies, materials and finished art project.

“Artful Beginnings” is the first session of 2017 and in our new arts studio!

Each week we will work on several take home projects in a variety of media. During this session, we will be creating a progressive sculpture, a “Perky Peacock”, a “Funky Feather”, “Musical Kwikie Dots”, “Crazy Cat” art piece, and a “Jaunty Giraffe”, just to name a few.

During music, we will sometimes integrate music with our art making and also experience different musical styles through fine and gross motor movement, finger plays, rhythm instrument play, parachute play, and other musical activities.

Dates: Fridays, March 10th through April 7th
OR
Mondays, March 13th through April 10th

Class times:
Mondays or Fridays
9:30am and 11:30 “Mommy and Me” – ages 1-5
(1-4 year olds require a participating adult to accompany them for this class)
2:00pm, and 4:00pm- ages 3-7yrs
5:30pm- ages 8-21 (Mondays only)**
** This class focuses on the creation of visual arts with music as a backdrop.

Fee: $150 for the 5-week session

If your child receives services through the Delaware County Board of DD, please contact your Support Administrator to complete the PAS (payment for authorization services) form before the session begins. I must have this form prior to the first class.

If you plan to pay privately, a $25 deposit is due with the enrollment form to secure your child’s reservation. The balance of $125 is due the first day of class. If you are interested in signing up numerous children and would like for them to be in the same class time slot I will work with you as best I can to make this happen. Please keep in mind that I like to keep certain age groups together so that the activities are age appropriate.

Please understand we are unable to provide respite care or childcare; kids needing assistance should bring a family member or caregiver to help with any personal needs they may have. **5:30pm – ages 3-7 (Fridays only)
