The Art of Music LLC is excited to announce our first Fall Session in our new building! We're getting "Back to Nature" with 6-week children's art and music sessions that actively involve children of all abilities (children with special needs as well as children developing typically) ages 1-21.
Each week we will work on several take home projects in a variety of media. During this new Fall session, we will be creating several progressive sculptures- an “Abstract Nature Collage”, a “Birch Tree”, a Leaf Mobile, “Clay Nature Prints”, and a “Music Abstract Nature” art piece just to name a few.
During music, we will sometimes integrate music with our art making and also experience different musical styles through fine and gross motor movement, finger plays, rhythm instrument play, parachute play, and other musical activities.
Please note- We have altered the late afternoon time slots to better accommodate
working family schedules. Dates and times of class offerings are below.
Dates: Mondays, August 21st through October 2nd (with NO CLASS on Labor Day, September 4th)
Or
Fridays, August 25th through September 29th
Times:
Mondays and/or Fridays
9:30am and 11:30 ages 1-7yrs
2:00pm- ages 1-7yrs
(1-4 year olds require a participating adult to accompany them for this class)
4:30pm- ages 6-10yrs (Mondays only)**
6:00pm- ages 7ish-21yrs (Mondays only)**
** This class focuses on the creation of visual arts with music as a backdrop.
4:30pm & 6:00pm – ages 1-7 (Fridays only)
Parental/Caregiver participation is strongly encouraged during ALL classes. Please understand we are unable to provide respite care or childcare; kids needing assistance should bring a family member or caregiver to help with any personal needs they may have.

Fee: $175 for the 6-week session
If your child receives services through the Delaware County Board of DD, please contact your Support Administrator to complete the PAS (payment for authorization services) form before the session begins. I must have this form prior to the first class.
If you plan to pay privately, a $25 deposit is due with the enrollment form to secure your child’s reservation. The balance of $150 is due the first day of class. If you are interested in signing up numerous children and would like for them to be in the same class time slot I will work with you as best I can to make this happen. Please keep in mind that I like to keep certain age groups together so that the activities are age appropriate.
